Stoned - Culture
I am just discovering the joy of reggae music. A co-worker
of mine has turned me on to reggae. In particular I have cultivated a love
for dub reggae. Basically it is a stripped down song structure. Little
vocals, and heavy emphasis on beats. Anyway, I have heard a few dub reggae
albums now and still believe that Stoned is among the best of them.
The beats are awesome, the use of instruments is done clever and slick.
My opinion, go get it and open your mind!
