Generation Swine - Motley Crue
The return of Vince Neil doesn't result in the return of classic Crue, although I wish that it were. Overall it is a good album with some notable tracks; Afraid, Generation Swine, Anybody Out There?, Let Us Prey, & A Rat Like Me. The slow ballad like songs are not even worth having on the album save for Brandon. The Shout At The Devil '97 is also cool. In my humble opinion the album earns a 3 out 5. As for recommending it to friends, I would say only if you are a Cruehead.

Pilgrim - Eric Clapton
"Clapton Is God" was written on a wall. Well this is not true but Clapton is one of the best damn guitarists ever. His Pilgrim album has disappointed some with its mellow songs. However, there is a need to look a little deeper and see that this album is very thoughtful and dark. In My Father's Eyes will soon become one of many Clapton classics. In short, go buy it!

Soulfly - Soulfly
Wow, this CD kicks ass!!!  In two languages even.  One of the coolest tracks on the disc is Bleed, it features DJ Lethal and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit.  The song is about a very cool topic, vengeance.  It is about one of life's true themes, what comes around really does go around.  The entire CD is filled with cool beats and angry vocals, go get it.
